  8. Voice Module Data Version 2.1:
  9.  
  10.   GEN7 senses the presence or absence of the voice data at
  11.   startup.  If the CPU is a 286 10MHz or better, the voice
  12.   data will be available for use. The following may occur:
  13.     1) Feedback may be given at entry to functions.
  14.     2) Errors may have audible feedback.
  15.     3) The clock may speak out the time on quarter hours.
  16.     4) The calculator may speak the digits and operators.
  17.     5) Errors or other functions may have additional voice
  18.        or special effects that are output.
  19.   No sound card is required, only a standard PC speaker. 
  20.   If a Sound Blaster compatible sound card is installed in
  21.   the computer, the /b option (see command line options) 
  22.   may be used to direct the voice output to this device.
  23.   A sound card driver is provided with GEN7 (SBDRIVER.OBJ)
  24.   to allow output to the sound card.  If songs are to be
  25.   played through the sound card, the SBFMDRV.COM program
  26.   must first be run (use G7SB.BAT to start GEN7).  More
  27.   about playing *.CMF files is on the next page.

  30. To unpack the voice data (if it has not already been unpacked into
  31. two files: GEN7EV$$.VOC and GEN7EV$$.VDX), type the following 
  32. command:

  34.         UNPCKVOC
  35.  
  36. The two files above will be created, and the intermediate files will
  37. be deleted.  If an error occurs in the sequence, reload fresh files
  38. and type:

  40.         G7G21
  41.         GEN7VD21
  42.         UNPCKVOC
  43.  
  44. Answer yes to any 'Overwrite' questions.
  45.  
  46. These modules may be integrated into one after registration (one
  47. copy of GEN7 can be used to use either the Tutors or the Accounting or
  48. the Song Data Base).
